Uukwaluudhi Safari Lodge is situated on a reserve that forms part of the core wildlife area of the conservancy, approximately 100km North from Etosha. It's name meaning "small group of one clan". The 6000ha reserve is the Uukwhaluudhi Conservancy and is fenced to protect its valuable endemic wildlife. An open veranda-like main area is thatched and situated on top of a small knoll, overlooking a large savannah plain periodically dotted by antelope, zebra and giraffe that graze along the fringes of the surrounding Mopani and Terminalia woodland.
Relax at the poolside with a favourite beverage or cool off in the crystal clear waters after a full day out hiking or game viewing.
The restaurant, bar, lounge and small curio shop have all been build to blend in perfect harmony with the natural surroundings. The restaurant offers a sumptuous selection of African and European fusion. A hot and cold breakfast eases you into the day while dinner consists of a hearty buffet or set menu. Optional lunch is available from an A-la-carte menu.
Breakfast and lunch packs are available on prior request should you wish to take food along while exploring. Other optional services include a laundry service and transfers to and from the Opuwo Airstrip.
